 Private screening for ghosts on the banks of Ohio River in Utopia/OH, 2011

In 2011 I will implement the project under the working title "In the church without magic / Bloodbuzz Ohio". It will be a series of video works and objects analyzing ways to interact with the world infested by unconscious power of dogma. In the first part of the project I will try to show the annihilation of  values and their slow disintegration. In the second part  I will check out how much we are supposed to sacrifice to cater our narcotic need to fulfill our ideas. My project will be partly implemented in Utopia/Ohio, a small ghost-town founded by utopian community in XIX century. I was inspired by their believes and ideas. The sect believed that the world would enter a 35,000 year long period of peace, and that in order to achieve enlightenment, they must live in communes with one another. They also believed that if there will be peace on earth, all of oceans will change to lemonade. This group of people lasted in Utopia only three years, almost all of them drowned during flood of Ohio River. Inspired also by others American utopian communities, I would like to create few videos, photographies and objects.
